Ofsted
“A wholly inclusive place where children are treasured.”
Victoria Park Nursery School was last inspected on 28th & 29th April 2026.
This was our first inspection under Ofsted’s new inspection framework. This framework provides a more detailed evaluation of different aspects of a school’s work, rather than a single overall judgement. As a result, inspection outcomes should not be directly compared with grades awarded under previous frameworks. The ‘Expected’ judgement represents a demanding standard, recognising schools that consistently meet Ofsted’s high expectations across all inspected areas. The new approach is designed to give parents and stakeholders a clearer and more comprehensive picture of a school’s performance. For further information, you may wish to watch Ofsted’s short explanatory video.
The inspection recognised that Victoria Park Nursery School provides a broad and engaging curriculum for our children. We were particularly pleased that Inclusion and Personal Development & Wellbeing were judged to be a Strong Standard, and that safeguarding was confirmed as fully effective.
Inspectors highlighted the calm and nurturing ethos of our nursery. They noted that children arrive happy and eager to learn, and that they are supported to feel safe by staff who are highly attentive to their emotional needs. Our provision ensures that children develop the sense of security they need to thrive.
